We had a teak bench for, say, nearly 30 years - I'd gotten tired of cleaning and oiling it, so painted it and finally, after sitting outside forever, it gave up the ghost.  logged onto teak closeouts, had my wife pick out what she liked, ordered it, got it within 3 days, dry-fitted it and (gasp!) going to paint it shortly when I can get paint.  I expect it will outlive us - and look forward to putting in our garden area.

Within a week of ordering my bench it was ready to sit on and enjoy the beautiful late summer morning back at the barn!  
I have gotten numerous compliments on how nice it looks and how wonderful the teak smells!
This is the second bench that I have received from Teak Closeouts promptly and well packaged.

The teak benches are extremely good product for value. I already own two and attempted to purchase a third. I say attempted because several weeks ago I purchased and received a bench that was defective. The return process is very frustrating because it must be handled via email. There is no live person to talk to and process the return. I finally was able to arrange a return and after another two weeks I finally received a replacement bench. Like the last bench, however, this one also had problems (it had not one but two split pieces, including one that had been previously repaired). At this point I'm so frustrated with the process that I'm going to try and glue the piece with the larger split.  I don't know if it will work as this is a load bearing piece but I really don't want to deal with the return process again.  I'm so disappointed. Nice product but cross your fingers there are no defective parts.
