2021 SHIPPING POLICY CHANGE

On April 1st, 2021, our website moved to a flat $199 east coast / $249 west coast unlimited furniture delivery price. Some small orders with shipping less than $199 can still ship to the east coast. Yet, all orders to the west coast now incur a $249 shipping rate, regardless of order size.

EAST COAST - $199 or the lesser fixed shipping cost. If you want to order a side table or single bench, you may pay the lower fixed shipping cost. If you reach $200+ in fixed shipping costs, the cart will automatically adjust to the flat-rate of $199 Unlimited Furniture Freight Delivery.

WEST COAST - $249 Unlimited Furniture Freight Delivery Only - add as much as you want to the order, it is a single fixed delivery cost.

West coast deliveries must ship FREIGHT due to the cost and rough handling of ground parcel shipping. The further a box travels along the ground parcel route is greater chance of damage. And with Fedex/UPS being slammed with orders, increased damage, extended delivery times, and incorrect deliveries are up. In fact, Fedex removed their delivery guarantees in 2020 and adopted a "it-gets-there-when-it-gets-there" approach. Ultimately, you blame us, so we fixed that....no more.

TO THE CURB IN A BIG TRUCK - NOT AT YOUR DOOR (FREIGHT)
The $199/$249 flat rate includes FREIGHT DELIVERY to the curb in a large truck. You are expected to unload the items from the back of the truck. The driver is not going to help you. If you are unable to unload the boxes, then please find a company that offers easier shipping methods. You can add liftgate service for an optional fee and this will get the item to the ground.

OPTIONAL LIFTGATE SERVICE
You may purchase liftgate service at checkout for an additional $69. If you decline this rate, you may still purchase this from the freight company and pay the optional and extra fee yourself. They will charge more than our rate (at your location). You may also purchase additional delivery services from the freight company. Our rate is basic curbside delivery. If you request us to add liftgate later, our system automatically declines.

BIG LONG TABLES
Freight delivery charges more for long pallets. If you have ordered an item that incurs this extra charge, the cart will automatically add the surcharge as a line-item to your order. The surcharges for longer tables are $99 and $150. This is on top of our basic flat-fee delivery rates. Don't add the optional liftgate with long tables. They won't fit on the liftgate anyway and multiple people just need to unload together. One person can not unload an order with a long table surcharge.

AUTHORIZE DELIVERY WITHOUT BEING THERE - DO NOT DO IT
The freight company will require an appointment and your signature. In some cases, the freight company will agree to drop your shipment without you being there. To do that, you must waive any right at damage inspection/claim. Pay very close attention - if you do this and discover damage, you will deal with it. You cannot remove our rights as a shipper and then expect we must honor damage. You have a responsibility to inspect your freight shipment and look for damage, crushed boxes, and forklift holes.

FREIGHT CALLS AND BULLIES ME TO ADD LIFTGATE
This happens a lot. Liftgate is easier on their drivers and customers. In addition, they typically deliver shipments with liftgates in smaller trucks. This benefits delivery in residential neighborhoods. The negative is it cost money and isn't always needed. If freight calls and says they have 500lbs of benches, this doesn't mean 500lbs in a box. It is a pallet and multiple boxes. You know what you ordered... everything is in a box as a single item or two. Most boxes weigh 50lbs or less and tables 100lbs+. If two people will be home or you have additional help, then just unload from the back of the truck - like 90% of all orders. If you are unable to assist in unloading or a single person home, then add the liftgate (now not later). Liftgate on delivery is normally $100-150 - this means deciding to buy the liftgate service at the point of delivery. They basically charge more.

BIG FRONT YARDS OR HIDDEN HOMES
If your home and curb are a fair distance apart, then several possibilities exist. If you purchase the optional liftgate, the driver "might" jack the pallet up or down the drive. I, repeat, they will not lift a box. Some drivers follow the rules like a union employee and some just try and do the right thing. What type of driver you will get will depend on luck!

SMALL ROADS & INACCESSIBLE LOCATIONS
If your home is not accessible by freight trucks, you have the option of picking your item up from the terminal. In most cases where a home might be hidden in the hills or up a street inaccessible, the driver and homeowner meet at the nearest street for unloading. And then it is the homeowner's responsibility to get it the "last mile". This isn't our issue or problem. That's your house.

NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT ORDER
If you place an order and do not accept the order for delivery, all freight charges will be deducted from your refund. Let's go through some examples....if you place an order and go on vacation or get called away, the freight will arrive in your city. Once the shipment is in your city and the freight company cannot reach you for 2-3 days, they will call us and provide a date the shipment will start incurring charges. This is normal 1-2 more days. We will try and reach you. Before the freight starts to incur charges, we will issue a return order. The full charges of all freight to and from will be deducted from your order and issued a refund to your card. Luckily, this is a very rare occurrence.

DELAYING SHIPMENTS
If you need a shipment delayed, then place details in the order comments section (checkout). We get a lot of delayed shipments and we can target delivery days. We do a fairly good job with this and as long as we understand the situation well, we get it done right.

FERRY ISLANDS OR REMOTE LOCATIONS IN USA
Islands may include an extra delivery charge. So if you are up in Washington State on your beautiful island, you are probably going to get a call from us.

Other odd or unusually high shipping destinations may incur an additional shipping charge. There are small pockets of delivery zones scattered around the USA that are abnormally high. These locations are very rarely ordered and there is a 99% chance you are not located in this zone.

In cases where we cannot honor the $199/$249 flat rate shipping price, we will provide you with the actual and lowest rate obtainable.

HAWAII AND ALASKA AND CANADA
We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska. We understand you live in the USA, but we don't set the shipping rates. Please address your anger to the shipping companies.

We do not ship to Canada nor internationally.
