Just what we wanted September 19, 2012 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Sunnyvale, CA United States   This little bench is the perfect size for the spot next to the patio door where everyone stops to remove their shoes.  No more hopping on one foot!  The bench looks really good with our Glocester Kingston dining set.  The only difference to the casual observer is that the slats run the length rather than the width of the bench.  It is slightly taller than some comparable benches, but because it will not be used with a cushion, it is the perfect height.  It came promptly and was pretty easy to assemble.  All but one of the holes lined up perfectly on the first try and the imperfect hole was easily taken care of.  It feels very secure and well balanced.  It's a great solution for one of life's little problems - where to sit when you remove your muddy gardening shoes. Beautiful comfy bench July 7, 2012 Reviewer: David from Lincoln, MA United States   Terrific looking, comfortable solid bench.  Bought two to go along with (far more expensive but comfy) Gloster chairs.  They look great together. The closeouts benches arrived quickly, flat packed in a box.  Put together quickly with six screws.  One bench was perfectly flat on the ground; the other adjusted to be perfectly flat by putting a washer under one of the screw feet. As advertised, the teak is lower grade than brands like Gloster.  Color is darker with more visible grain and imperfections than super-premium brands: some knots on the underside, mortars not as perfectly clean, assembly screws visible, etc. Overall, a great deal.  It is beautiful, solid, and functional.... and fraction of the price! Packing Material - good packing but the foam sticking to the cardboard prevented cardboard from being recycled. Love it! :) March 31, 2012 Reviewer: patryce from morrison, CO United States   I did a lot of online searching for a bench for our new shower.  This one was the coolest looking one, and different from the 50 other sites which all have a 36" bench.  The price was great, and I was pleased with the look and quality of the bench.   Our bench was a bit delayed because it didn't make it on the container from overseas, but we got a phone call explaining this, and once it got here- the packing and packaging was great, with really clear instructions for assembly and maintenance.  Even came with some sandpaper if we needed it!  I was very pleased with this transaction and I'll be back if I need any more teak!
