will buy from again May 10, 2012 Reviewer: dennis boyd from Glen ellyn, IL United States   shipping cost was high, but item arrived 100% perfect,  very professionally packaged and no damage. TEAK CLOSEOUTS RESPONSE At $139, the price charged is less than the actual price billed to Teak Closeouts.  This is a FREIGHT delivery and cost a minimum of $151 to ship to close addresses. We have not raised shipping prices in 4 years. We charge a reasonable shipping rate on all items and we don't build delivery costs into the product cost.  Any customer can purchase direct from our store at the advertised price and no shipping! Lutyens 64" Bench March 30, 2010 Reviewer: Gary Rowe from Portsmouth, VA United States   I received my Lutyens bench today from FedEx freight and it was wrapped and packaged very well.   The quality of the bench is exceptional.  It is very sturdy, has a nice weight, and is very well made.  The price was also attractive when comparing to similar items at other teak dealers.  I did quite a bit of comparison shopping and thought Teak Closeouts had the best offer.  The bench also has nice lines and proportions.  I also called to inquire about my tracking number and the representative at Teak Closeouts was very friendly and glad to help.  He made me feel like a valued customer.  I would definitely do business with Teak Closeouts again and would highly recommend them to others.  Thank you for your prompt and friendly service. Our Bench Has Arrived April 15, 2009 Reviewer: Jody Huston from Gainesville, FL United States   Received our first purchase from Teak  Closeouts today and wanted to report how pleased we are.  The 60" Lutyens bench arrived well wrapped and in a timely fashion ( 4 business days, although ordered it right before Easter).  The dimensions of the bench are a little larger than advertized but the proportions are great.  This bench has a bit more delicate appearence, which I like, however it seems very tight and sturdy.  The woodgrain may be a bit more variable than a grade A teak, but that is nature and it is quite beautiful.  The scent of the teak is fantastic!  One thing I would have liked is some sort of writeup about the bench.  Eg. origins, care , if there is an oil finish on it, etc.  Seems like natural, bare teak to me.  I hope these benches come in again in May as I would order 2 more for our home.  I have wanted a Lutyens bench for many years but  have hesitated because of the prices.
