Bench looks great and is sturdy. It should take about 5-10 minutes to put together, but it took us about an hour since the metal thingies the screws are supposed to go into weren't lined up and the screws wouldn't go in. Daughter finally took over and we got it put together. Get a Phillips screwdriver handy and a flashlight, just in case. I would give it five starts if it hadn't been so frustrating to put the simple thing together.

The bench comes in three pieces that feel heavy duty. Assembly was simple, and I was surprised at how snuggly the pieces all fitted together (uses 6 bolts). The bench is for a walk-in closet and will occasionally be used to stand up on. Our last bench broke, but this new teak bench is so solid I do not see how it could possibly break. I have several teak pieces of furniture; the wood on this beach shows more of the grain texture and has more light and dark area colorations in the wood - it has character and I like it. The design and materials of this bench are great; my only criticism is that upon close inspection I wish that when the pieces were put together they would have taken a little more time and care. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

The bench is exactly what we wanted. Our master bath the will be finished soon, done in a zen design, and will work great in our new shower. Love it!

This little bench is the perfect size for the spot next to the patio door where everyone stops to remove their shoes. No more hopping on one foot! The bench looks really good with our Glocester Kingston dining set. The only difference to the casual observer is that the slats run the length rather than the width of the bench. It is slightly taller than some comparable benches, but because it will not be used with a cushion, it is the perfect height. It came promptly and was pretty easy to assemble. All but one of the holes lined up perfectly on the first try and the imperfect hole was easily taken care of. It feels very secure and well balanced. It's a great solution for one of life's little problems - where to sit when you remove your muddy gardening shoes.
