Great price and great service but the product had definitely been recycled and someone had attempted to assemble without luck. After some modifications and trip to the hardware store to get screws that were not furnished ..looks pretty good.

TEAK CLOSEOUTS RESPONSE
All items from the website are assembled prior to packaging.  Unless the parts were assembled incorrectly, the item should go together with little ease.  There is a hardware package in each box.  If a customer is missing hardware for any reason, we gladly ship out replacements.  It is possible we miss a few boxes a year.  No modifications are necessary in assembly - 90% of the time this indicates a piece incorrectly installed.

Again this was extremely easy to assemble and overall a beautiful bench.  Although not premium grade teak, the wood grain variation is absolutely beautiful and adds wonderful character to the piece.  I have other "premium" teak pieces for which I paid a lot more and I get more complements on this bench than the other pieces!  Great value.  I liked it so much I purchased another (plus a few other things)!

Purchased as an anniversary gift for my wife.  We have had other hardwood benches before, but the Sumo is by far the best so far.  Received 2 days after orders, assembled quickly, beautiful product, comfortable, great looking.  Glad I chose the SUMO, like the thicker lumber...will last a long. long time.
