This is what we've come to call Shelia's Big Sister Folding Arm Chair. This is the premium shelia arm chair with thicker slats that are harder to break. Honestly, there is little trouble from the premium Shelia arm chair, but this thicker slat version makes the slats harder to break. We would likely recommend this arm chair to those that want to use a folding arm chair in business/restaurant. The cost is $10 more than the premium shelia arm chair. It still features the 4 major advantages listed below. Plus, the newer chairs are balanced and you can step-up on the front and it doesn't fly forward!! It's a cringe-worthy experiment and we don't recommend you do it. Our risk taking employees only weigh 150lbs. We will post a video of this later.
View the second to last image for a comparison of the Premium Shelia (13 slats) and Shelia's Big Sister (11 slats).
PREMIUM VERSION This version Shelia arm chair adds (4) advantages to its standard version counterpart- 1) when folded, the arm chair can sit on its feet in an upright position 2) the addition of a longer back piece which transfers weight to the frame 3) additional horizontal support members
Most folding chairs on the market are the standard version, this one has the same construction with The Premium Shelia bg-fold-arm-prem-shel-c but The Sister has thicker slats.
The three advantages include helping to store and pack the folding chair when not in use. The ability for the arm chair to fold upright and not have the seat flop forward due to short legs is an advantage in packing and storage. In addition, the design and function of the back seat piece serves a pivotal role in allowing more weight in the seat.
Width: 18" Depth: 25" Height: 35" Inside Seat Width: 15.75" Inside Seat Depth: 14.75" Seat Height from ground: 18" in front and gradually sloping to back of ~17.5" Dimensions vary slightly
