Love it! March 25, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Fort Worth, TX United States   This is our third bench from Teak Closeouts.  The first bench is still on our back porch after almost ten years.  The second bench broke apart in an 80mph wind after being tossed over 40'.  This was our third bench and not only is it very well made it is gorgeous!  The instructions to put it together were clear and easy to follow.  I would recommend either someone to help hold a piece when you screw it together, or some clamps to help you hold  it.  Small glitch when ordering and shipping, but all is well that ends well.  Would definitely buy again from this company. Looks good and feels solid! September 17, 2020 Reviewer: WILLIAM CLARKE from Boiceville, NY United States   The bench arrived within a week or so, delivered safely to the front door.  Directions were clear and assembly was logical. Might go more easily with two people, but working alone it took about an hour. All tools & hardware are included, except wood glue which is only suggested. (I'd recommended it.) The bench looks fantastic and feels solid, so am hoping it will last a long time. Was this review helpful to you?

Sumo steak Bench June 14, 2020 Reviewer: Ivan Rodriguez from Temecula, CA United States   For the most part we are please with the sumo bench. I see a few cracks that we hope will not get bigger with time. One of the screws has not seat well on the pre- drill hole. It keeps turning and does not tighten as the others did. I will need to find a solution for that. We like the bench we are going to purchase a few more of these style. If you have any suggestion on the screw issue please advise. Over all, a good buy. Vendor not responsive May 28, 2020 Reviewer: Michael Curran from Westerville , OH United States   I received a 48” Sumo Teak Bench 3 days ago. When I unboxed the unit I was not impressed with the quality. One side if the bench did not have all the holes necessary for the piece drilled. When I looked closer at the piece the brace on the bottom was cracked. I filled a damaged product report on the Teak Closeout over two days ago and I have never received an acknowledgement of the claim or instructions on how to deal with the defective product. There is no other way to contact the company other than the claim form on the website, when I called the customer service phone number it referred me back to the website form. This isn’t what I would consider even poor customer service. If I do not receive any update from the company by Monday I will turn it over to my credit card company to resolve. TEAK CLOSEOUTS RESPONSE Every bench is pre-assembled, so maybe you were assembling the bench with the feet in the air?  For those that want agents and can't fill out the form online, please order from Amazon.  The reality of less customer service is here.  The damaged bench is picked-up.  We are operating with less employees due to COVID19. but the reality is a damaged product can take 7-8 days. Happy, Happy, Happy down south July 27, 2015 Reviewer: Deane T Wallace from Little Rock, AR United States   I have assembled my 48" Sumo bench and two armchairs with reasonable effort.  We love them already.  The assembly would have been easy if I had not tried to assemble the back of one chair backwards.  The quality exceeds the price.
