Had questions before purchasing the bench and called the company.  Extremely helpful customer service; answered all questions and offered additional advice.  It is rare to have the opportunity to talk to a human, in addition a human who is patient and willing to answer all questions. Very Nice Teak Bench May 31, 2014 Reviewer: John Majewski from Branchburg, NJ United States   I purchased two benches and waited for a year to write this review because I wanted to see how the benches would stand the test of time.  After a full year the benches are still firm and solid and starting to turn gray as expected.  They are used on a regular basis by different people and are comfortable while sitting.  These benches are a nice addition to our outdoor sitting area. sumbawa bench October 31, 2013 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Atlanta, GA United States   I've ordered several benches over the years, with great results.  this bench seemed to have been in some water or heavy rain, as the box had old water marks on it, and the bench had some sort of white mold on the wood.  I have assembled it and will wipe it down with bleach to clean.  a few cracks and filler marks, but I guess that is to be expected with a b/c grade.  good value for the price. First bench came perfect..Second was defective August 31, 2013 Reviewer: ellen laurie from FL United States   I was so pleased with the first bench that I ordered another.  The second was defective and could not be put together properly. ..Something about the wrong pin hole?  Anyway to their credit they replaced it, but it was a pain since we had to assemble, disassemble and spent quite a bit of time on the problem. TEAK CLOSEOUTS RESPONSE We fully assemble all benches before boxing and all screw holes align during assembly - or it simply won't assemble.  When a customer complains about assembly trouble, we try and assist.  When the issue can't be resolved, we replace the item. We wish 100% of our products were delivered damage and problem-free, but that's not a reality in any business.  It is disappointing to get a 1-star rating, but each customer has their "pain level". Luckily, most customers have a threshold a little higher than being angry we had to replace the item. Was this review helpful to you?

Beautiful and well-made! June 21, 2013 Reviewer: Erin from Charlotte, NC United States   I was skeptical about making this purchase given the low price...I've seen similar benches priced between $500 - $3000!  It's solid, well-made, comfortable and best of all it came at a bargain price.  Installation was very simple...I'm a non-handy female and I put it together alone in less than 15 minutes.  Thanks for the beautiful bench now sitting in my garden! 120cm/48" Sumbawa Bench May 13, 2013 Reviewer: J.L. from Baiting Hollow, NY United States   The 48" Sumbawa bench I ordered arrived fast!  That was nice.  It looks great and we had no difficulty putting it together.  I feel that the quality of the bench is very good  and equal to the price paid. After we have had the bench for a season, I will see how it holds up.  If it is in good condition, as I feel it will be, I will order more items. Was this review helpful to you?
