Good quality.  One or two slight defects only. Could use step-by-step assembly instructions, but it was not too hard to figure out.  Like having extra screws. Chairs are as expected.  Priced well. Would order. again.

Having once worked at Smith & Hawken and having sold a lot of high end teak furniture, I can tell you that this teak, though not the highest grade, is excellent quality.  The main difference is that there is some inconsistency in the wood color, but frankly, for the price, I can live with this, and I think over time as the teak ages, it will all even out anyway.  I wanted something for the front of the house to kind of warm it up and make use of a stone patio I had built.  The furniture looks amazing and I've caught my myself parking my tush on the bench more than a few times.  Who knew that it would be comfortable too - win-win!!  Got the Sumbawa bench and arm chair and a side table.  The bench had some minor shipping damage and customer service was amazingly fast and accommodating.  Assembly was quick and painless.  Just love the way it looks.

After shopping our local outdoor furniture store and finding out their teaks chairs started at $399 each, I sought out a plan B. That's when I happened across Teak Closeouts. I found their website to be helpful and informative. It was a hard choice, but we decided the Sumbawa arm chair fit best on our new outdoor kitchen/fireplace area. Took a shot and ordered 4 chairs and a side table. To my delight, we received our shipment two days later.  The chairs were pre-drilled and very easy to put together. We had to make one quick call to customer service and got a very helpful person on-the-spot.  That's when we found out that we were the problem, not the chairs.  Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality and looks of the chairs and with the whole experience with Teak Closeouts. We have already recommended them to several friends and plan to order again in the future. I wanted a teak horse, but my husband put a halt to that!
