sides are kinda fine

new high-quality top.  bought the most expensive and had all the weather trim replaced.

new leather in 2000 - front and back - completed by Coachcraft in Lexington

Anti-theft radio.  If it ain't there, then it can't be stolen again. I never lock the car since a convertible.

tires are a few years old, but less than 2000 miles probably.  I believe not a cheap set.

standard engine - over the years, new timing belt, water pump, alternator, battery is 1 year old.  oil always synthetic and changed at Valvoline - thus records exist. new muffler 4-5 years ago.

not pulled apart from sun, but getting out of car.  still flexible and able to be fixed.  Coachcraft said they'd fix for $100.

non-smoking car, less than 5000 miles per year since owned.  no accidents in my ownership.  transmission is fine - never any trouble. car drives solid.  with 4 new shocks, the car is really fun again.  no leaks in the engine.

serviced for many years at motorsports, the bmw authority in lexington.    used to spend about $500 per year in service when driving regularly.  have not serviced since 2007 - other than oil changes.

work to be completed or not:
brake wire just came on......some brakes are needed.  i don't know if 1 or 4.  honestly, i can't remember if i have ever replaced brakes and rotors together?
i have a replacement bmw radio that is correct for the year.  i never installed.
probably could use a tune-up since not done in 4-5 years.
