The engraved plaque/plate is carved deep and not just 'etched' into the surface.

Plates are unlacquered and will develop a tea patina over time.

I purchased a bench for my wife for Mother's Day and added an engraved brass plaque. The plaque was received in good order, on time, correctly done and of high quality. I can recommend the Engraved Plaque to anyone. It is certainly worth the money.
