September 5th, 2009 - Teak Closeouts announces the introduction of a small quantity discount program available for customers willing to purchase direct out of their Indonesian warehouse. This new program is geared toward small quantity purchases for golf courses, shopping centers, hospitals, parks, and anyone planning ahead by 2-4 months.
Therefore, you now have two options to purchase our products:
- Website stock - in the USA and ready to ship.
- Indonesian warehouse - Direct From the Factory Purchasing. You buy then and now and
wait till it arrives.
A key benefit also available in the DFFP program is the advance availability of the stock. Many benches and arm chairs have waiting lists started by customers via the website. When the inventory is entered on any out of stock item, the system automatically generates emails to all waiting list for customers. Then, it's first-come-first-served......
Direct From the Factory Purchasing Program conditions:
- The product must be in the warehouse in Indonesia.You are basically purchasing the item direct out of the Indonesian warehouse versus the Lexington store. Items in our Lexington store - listed online as in-stock - DO NOT QUALIFY.
- All DFFP purchases pay for the item immediately out of our Indonesian warehouse.
- The items will come in single-face wrapping and not the normal box for ground shipping. All items will be placed on a pallet in Lexington and shipped direct to you via freight.
- Less than 10 items or less than $2000 does not qualify for the DFFP program.
Our normal quantity discount starts at $10,000. The program saves the customer $500-$1000+ on shipping fees......as we don't build a shipping cost into our product costs (there is no such thing as free shipping by the other websites).
Examples of customer purchases:
- 10-20 teak benches - mixed sizes or styles - golf course, shopping center, cemetery, park,
hospital, or church?
- 15+ teak arm chairs - mix and match -
- 10+ bistro table sets - small outdoor restaurant patio? Country Club?
- 10+ teak items - mixed of anything - any possibility?
- 6 loungers + 3 side tables + 1 table set - poolside set-up?
- 100+ folding chairs - corporate event? Wedding?
We repeat, this does not apply to any in-stock product available on the website currently. If you are in need of immediate stock, this program is not for you. We will not guarantee a delivery date of any DFFP product. We can estimate a date only. If a timeframe must be met, this program is not for you.
This program does not include free shipping on 10+ items or $2000 of in-stock website inventory. We may not always have what you want or need in the Indonesian warehouse. Teak furniture items sometimes sit in our warehouse 1-4 months before shipping to the Lexington store.
If you wish to participate in this program, you must send a request for indicating the items desired. Flexibility and planning ahead is key to this program.
Website shipping discounts via freight shipping can be obtained on any of our inventory. Therefore, although free shipping is not available for our website stock, reduced shipping quotes are available for larger freight shipments. Please inquire if you wish to purchase quantity of our in-stock inventory and would like a lower shipping rate.
