The bench arrived very quickly and was well packaged. I am a small woman but was able to unpack and assemble the bench myself with no problems. It came with extra screws, an Allen wrench, and even small screw-in feet. The sides and back had tenons and were solidly built, and the whole thing felt quite sturdy when I knocked it together with a mallet, even before putting in the screws.
On the plus side: overall it does look more b-grade than c-grade. On the negative side, the one I received is dark tan/brown with an orange tinge, not at all the light neutral brown pictured on the website. Second downer, the front legs of the bench I received had white streaks running down both sides. Some of the streaks could be rubbed off, some not. My guess is that the streaks are from the water-based blending chemical used on the bench (as noted in the description). Now that it has sat out in the rain, the streaks seem to be gradually disappearing.
TEAK CLOSEOUTS RESPONSE Yes, as stated in the description, this bench is a c-grade bench that looks darker because of the blending chemical. That orange tinge is a tell-tale sign of the chemical. In the end, the bench will weather like everything else teak.
